There is no requirement to submit any qualifying video clips in advance. Competitors are required to report and perform their participation in person according to the specified date and time. Onsite Format Onsite Format The Flight Simulator Competition this year will be held as a 100% onsite event at Robot Realm @ Zeer Rangsit. All participants are required to be physically present at the designated competition venue to take part in the activities and compete in person. Each participant will be allocated a 10-minute time slot for their competition attempt and must use the equipment provided at the venue. Personal equipment is not permitted, and no pre-recorded videos are required for this competition. Participants will compete in a total of three rounds, and the highest score among the three attempts will be used as the final evaluated score. All necessary equipment will be fully provided onsite, and effective time management is essential, as each participant is strictly limited to 10 minutes. This competition format is designed to ensure fairness and standardization for all participants, with every competitor using the same equipment under identical conditions. Camera View Mission Scenario Competitors are required to strictly execute the “Landing Challenge” mission under the following simulated conditions: Airports: Funchal Airport (LPMA), Portugal. Surprise Airport (Details to be announced). Approach Procedure: RNAV Approach. Weather: Strong Wind conditions. Other weather phenomena (such as rain, fog, or snow) may be introduced by the judging panel on the day of the event. Wind Configuration: The wind speed and direction will be strictly predetermined by the judging panel and constitute a critical condition of the competition. Payload: Competitors must adjust the aircraft payload according to the specifications mandated by the judging panel. Funchal Airport (LPMA), Portugal RNAV approach to Funchal (LPMA) Landing Challenge, Strong wind, Funchal Airport (LPMA) Competition Rules and Schedule Number of Rounds: Each competitor will execute a total of three (3) flight attempts (rounds). Round 1: Funchal Airport (LPMA) Round 2: Funchal Airport (LPMA) Round 3: Surprise Airport (Details to be announced) Competition Time Limit: A strict time limit of 10 minutes per round will be imposed. Competitors must manage their time autonomously within this constraint. Camera View Regulations Primary View: The use of the Cockpit View is mandatory as the primary viewing perspective. Permissible Exception: Competitors are permitted to momentarily switch to the Third-Person View a maximum of three (3) times per competition round, with each instance lasting no more than five (5) seconds. Equipment and Software for the Competition In order to ensure fairness and maintain a unified standard (Standardized Equipment): Hardware: Competitors must exclusively utilize the equipment provided by the organizer (high-specification computer systems). The use of personal peripherals (such as personal joysticks, yokes, or throttles) in the competition is strictly prohibited. Control Device: The competition will use the provided Joystick (Flight Stick). Software: Microsoft Flight Simulator. Scoring Criteria The In-game Scoring System will be utilized to determine the results. The final decision will be based on the cumulative score obtained from all three (3) rounds combined, according to the following criteria: Judging Criteria Point Landing Precision (Touchdown Accuracy) Measurement: Assesses the ability to touch down precisely on the designated landing marker. 5,000 Centerline(Runway Centerline) Measurement: Assesses the competency in maintaining the aircraft along the runway centerline during the ground roll. 5,000 Landing Smoothness (Softness of Landing) Measurement: Assesses the impact force upon touchdown (measured in Feet Per Minute or FPM). 200 Total score 2,000,000 Maximum Potential Score: 2,000,000 Points (This figure is a simulated value based on the in-game system, or as displayed on the final results summary page). Terms and Conditions of Registration The following stipulations govern the registration process for the competition: Confirmation of Eligibility: Once the registration and data confirmation process is complete, the application is considered final and binding.
