Get ready for an aerial showdown! The Drone Fight competition is about to begin. This arena will be a battleground for drone warriors, who must use precision and quick reflexes to burst the balloons before their opponents. Who will emerge victorious in this aerial war? Let's find out!

Categories

  • Smash (Approximately ages 6-15)
  • Smash Double (Approximately ages 6-15)

Rules

Smash Category

  • The competition begins with the signal “Balloon Go!” and the first player to successfully burst their balloon is declared the winner.
  • Players must position their drones on a starting line 2 meters away from the balloon.
  • All players raise their right hands simultaneously and shout “Balloon Go!” to initiate the competition.

Smash Double

  • the first player to break two balloons wins
  • If it is deemed difficult to apply the Smash Double rule, such as when two or more players are playing at the same venue or when only one balloon unit is available, the conventional rule of breaking one balloon is applied.
  • In this case, if it becomes possible to apply the Smash Double rule, such as when a draw is made, the Smash Double rule shall be applied.
  • Only one type of technique point is awarded per match; when two different techniques aare preformed, the higher technique P is awarded, and when the same technique is performed multiple times, only one technique P is awarded.

The drones used in the Drone Smash competition must be of the following models:

  • DJI Tello
  • DJI TelloEDU
  • DJI ROBOMASTER TT

Awards

Prizes will be allocated based on the ranking of the competing teams. Certificates will be awarded to the winners of each category by Space Challenge Asia.

FAQs

No, it is not considered a win. The balloon must burst to earn points.

A method of determination should be established in advance, such as using timekeeping technology or having the judges make a decision.

If your drone is damaged to the point where it cannot continue competing, you will be disqualified from that competition.

The date and time of the competition will be specified in the competition schedule which will be announced soon .

The venue for the competition will be announced before the event date.
